Main page
Mirek needed a basic microsite, with contact information and some explanation of the Watch, Wait and Wonder course.
Since the site will rarely be updated, I built it in pure code. When the site was first launched, it only included contact information for Mirek. Now the site also includes information about upcoming courses held by Mirek in the Watch, Wait and Wonder approach.
Mirek wanted a clean, simple layout with potential to accomodate a larger navigation menu in future, and some indication of the nature of his work.
I used a personal photo as the main visual element, to suggest Mirek's work as a child psychologist, and a muted colour scheme with orange highlights. The layout is easy to navigate and will allow the addition of multiple pages if necessary. If the site needs to be updated more frequently in future, migrating the site to a content-management system will be easy due to the simplicity of the design.
