Drollic is also Linn Øyen Farley's web design company, so named because puppet shows have a lot in common with good web design. Puppet shows strive to create a visually appealing performance, without compromising the functionality of the strings in the hands of the puppet master. Similarly, websites can — and should — comply with strict usability and web standards, be fully controllable by their owner, and have a logical structure, all without losing their basis in attractive design.
Following the rules doesn't have to mean looking like everyone else.
